Preparing a Healthy Meal

Here are some tips for making your meals including meat and fish as healthy as possible!

  • Trim fat off meat before you cook it
  • Grill fish and meats
  • Lower fat choices are (skinless) chicken, game and wild meats and fish
  • Try eating vegetarian alternatives to meat a couple of times a week.
  • Grill, boil, or steam foods.
